Mac was over earlier so she helped out..THANKS MAC! Isabel and El also helped of course.

We had an early Thanksgiving last Saturday. It was so nice to cook in my own house...I think it was the biggest feast ever prepared at my place..(not counting Xmas parties etc.!). It was so nice to have everyone come and visit. My parents, little sis El, and her boyfriend Bruce. Bruce's Mom, Nina and my darling kidlets of course! And a special appearance was made by my sister Sian who had 24 hours free..so drove 12 hours back and forth to be with us!

Success...we raised $86 for the Humane Society. Hurray! Good job Benjamin (and Mama, and Iz, and Chris!).

Halloween 2009

Fun..fun..fun..fun. And the fact that it was on a Saturday meant that we had a multi-generational dance party..which completely reminded me of Christmases past when I was little.

Sewing

Marimekko...okay a little Japanese victory flag ..but very cool..perhaps a small pillow?

I am going to have some time off soon...though that idea is kind of hilarious..because whenever you have time off as a mother..it's not really time off at all..and you suddenly wonder where the hours have gone. However...I am determined to finally pull out my sewing machine and sew something. Annie, Amy..help me out here! :)

Isabel is turning 12 on October 3. A little pre-birthday sleepover action.
